0–100
0–10 measures by wave
Means among respondents at each wave. Different people respond at different waves.
WHO-5 Well-Being Index by wave
Separate scale: 0–100. Dashed lines show 95% confidence interval.
Individual change, baseline to day 365
Life satisfaction, among 368 people with both waves. ±1 point threshold.
A meaningful share report lower scores at one year. Averages conceal varied trajectories.
Completion and dropout
Share of enrolled responding at each wave.
Baseline life satisfaction: day-365 completers 5.92 (n=368) vs. non-completers 5.90 (n=272). Dropout is not random (decliners leave more often in this dataset), so later-wave means may be biased upward.
Reading these results
- This is an observational cohort without a comparison group. Changes over time may reflect regression to the mean, life events, seasonal effects, expectation, or who stays in the study — not programme effects.
- Respondents self-select into both the programme and the study.
- Wave means are unadjusted. Planned analyses use mixed-effects models with sensitivity analyses for missing data.
- Journey exploratory items have not been validated.
